Check in on your friends today 🫶🏻
Let’s normalize asking the people close to us how they are doing, with a genuine interest to know and give them some space to genuinely share—whether they have been struggling or thriving lately.
It can be scary to ask for help when we are in a low place, but knowing that the people around us care enough to check-in and listen, can make it far easier.
One of the things I’ve loved most about social media the past year, or more, has been being able to create a safe space for people to feel seen, encouraged, loved and not so alone. It’s a beautiful thing being able to share my experiences, thoughts, and feelings and see how it’s had a positive impact on so many people.
I encourage you to try and do the same in your own circle of friends and connections. Create space for people to share how they’re doing, how they’re REALLY doing and be open with how you’re doing as well. Your experiences and feelings are important, and you are loved 🤍
