I've been doing my best to look at the silver linings, positive moments and little wins this past week. The to-do list items that I am catching up on, the people I am still connecting with via social media or reconnecting with after not hearing from / reaching out to them in a while. Admittedly I'm going a little stir crazy being inside so much, but this too shall pass with time and for now... although it's not always the past of least resistance, it's better to focus on the positive or going well during your day, even if it feels like it's insignificant. Don't ignore what's going on right now, but don't let it overwhelm your entire life. Take it in, accept how its affecting you, and then let it go so that you can focus on the next thing that will help you move forward. One step, one moment, one day at a time. Now is the time for all those soul food moments that we are so found of calling clichés. Stay safe, stay home as best you can, and take care of your beautiful selves!✨
