Putting aside the genuinely frigid toes, this was such a fun trek. The 10.5miles and 3,500 ft of elevation was challenging in the snow, but I was feeling pretty good and sharing laughs with @downtofowler kept the spirits high. Daniel decided to be an absolute mad lad and pull some firewood up the mountain on a sled (it turns out if you bring your own wood, you can have a fire in the winter), which made the evening way more comfortable while also being such a vibe. I won’t lie, I’m still not the biggest fan of winter camping but I’m so glad I said yes when I was invited on this adventure. Some mountain time was definitely just what I needed! 🤙🏻
