A break in the trees... 🌅 This past week has been quite fast paced, not in a bad way but it still caught up to me a bit, especially with mostly being inside all week (and for the past however many months it’s been now). I was able to get outside yesterday evening though and I found a little spot with no one else around and just sat for over an hour, slowed down a bit. I laid back in the grass and just listened to the nature sounds. I’m not gonna lie, it’s such a refreshing thing to do, and it was just the break I needed. It brought me back to why I enjoy the work I do, why I’ve found myself outdoors so much in the first place. It’s one of a few things that truly makes me feel alive... and I honestly don’t know if I can explain it any better than that, as it’s such an amalgamation of feelings.
