Tag some of your idiot hiking friends😝🥾 If I wasn’t already into hiking and being outdoors and you suggested doing an 18.5 mile hike last minute I’d have probably thought you were crazy😂 Even with the former being the case, I definitely second guessed my decisions a few times on this hike… the roughly 5mi trail turns into an 18.5mi trek when you decide to do it last minute for sunset and have to walk the road to get to and from the trailhead. I was not at all in the best hiking shape and I definitely was under prepared, but I pushed on😂😅 It was 100% worth it though to see the views at the end, be out in nature and push myself to experience something I wouldn’t have otherwise.
