Share this with your mom 🫶🏻 I can honestly say I wouldn’t be the same man I am today without the wisdom, support, love and tolerance (we didn’t always see eye to eye) of my mother. In a recent conversation with her after the passing of her own father, she brought up the importance of learning about and connecting with your parents while we still can. This may not always be possible, and even these questions may be impossible for some to ask, but if you can make the effort to get to know your parents (parental figures of any kind) more, even by simply asking them how their day is going or what they’re working on currently, it is an invaluable practice that I guarantee you won’t regret. I haven’t had a chance to ask my mom all of these questions yet, but I’m looking forward to when we talk next and hearing more about her experiences in life, and as a parent raising me and my brother.🥰 Sending love to all the parents, those who’ve lost their parents, and those with parents who are distant 💛🤗
