It was a WILD 48 hoursš¤Æ Is Glacier on your bucket list yet?!
If itās not, it should be! This trip was an whirlwind and I definitely didnāt sleep much, but the sights were truly unbelievable! I knew it was going to be a short trip, but didnāt anticipate the wildfire smoke rolling in and cutting it short by 2 days. In the brief time I was there I still saw multiple bucket list views, 6 bears, a moose, a fox, and more big horned sheep and goats than I could be bothered to count haha. There isnāt a hike, or view in the park that wasnāt worth seeing, so you really canāt go wrong no matter what you do!
The biggest tip I have though, involves the permit system which is in place from 6am-3pm at all of the main areas of the park. If you get yourself up for sunrise, pack some breakfast with you and explore around until lunch time you can easily spend the first half of the day in one part of the park, and then move onto the next part of the park you want to see after 3pm and completely avoid the stress of needing to have a permit! (You can of course always get permits ahead of time).
