~ [scale] I havenโt posted a photo of myself for scale in a while, so I thought I would do so as the second image to show the scale of this massive falls. If you look closely at the top tier of the falls, which is tiny compared the main drop, you might be able to recognize it as the waterfall I posted yesterday. Since I couldnโt find a recorded height for the falls, my best estimate for the drop of the top tier is about 60ft, making the entirety about 250ft in its two main drops. Then thereโs me, I am about 6โ1/2" & the way Iโm positioned in the photo in relation to the falls make it looks about half as large as it actually feels when youโre looking up through the valley at the expansive falls, pretty amazing how photographs can shift perspective & scale right?!
On a side note, I love to stand as close as I can to waterfalls and hear them roar and feel the spray against my face, who else enjoys this? I know Iโm not the only one! // live, laugh, love!
