Trying Out Electric Bikes in New York City

This week I had the opportunity to try out @electra_bicycle's new additions to their electric bike lineup. While I've tried electric bikes in Europe, I had no idea we had them in the US, too. In fact, Electra is based in Cali! ___ There's a bunch of awesome features with their e-bikes -- like puncture-resistent tires and modes of transport ranging from Eco to Turbo. My favorite feature, however, is the ergonomic design. As in, I didn't have to stand on my tippy toes while waiting at a light. Finally! ___ I guess I'm not the only one who thought the bikes were pretty sweet. These photographers even came over and asked to photograph me on one. See, New Yorkers ARE friendly :) ___ What's your favorite way to get around a city?
