Scenic Kyrgyzstan Hiking Trek

Views from 3,210 meters in Kyrgyzstan! 😍 Day 3 of my 4-day Kyrgyzstan trek started off relatively easy, as we descended deeper into the Kichik Alay Valley, making our way to Kosh Moinok Pass. 🤩 ➡️ (ps. Comment “Kyrgyzstan itinerary” if you’d like me to send you my full 2-week itinerary!) The Alay Mountains remain in our vantage point, as well as beautiful countryside views. Cows graze, crystalline rivers flow, colorful flowers blow in the breeze, locals work outside their yurts, and the mountains tower toward the clouds in the distance. It’s an idyllic and relaxing hike. 🏔️ Until, it isn’t. 😅 While the incredible views remain, the leisurely pace quickly turns into a strenuous uphill climb after lunch. Every time we get to something that feels like “the top” we have to continue on. It isn’t until we reach the official pass at 3,210 meters. 🥵 While I wanted to cry during the uphill climb, I quickly forget my pain as I gaze out toward the Pamir Mountains toward the south and the Alay Mountains to the north. 😮 Swipe right 👉 for some of my favorite shots from the trek. What is your favorite country for hiking?
