Things to Do in Kingston, NY

🍁 THINGS TO DO IN KINGSTON, NY 🍁(save/share!)⁠ 👇⁠ This past weekend I took a local getaway to Kingston, New York -- the first capital of New York State and a beautiful historic city that I'd never explored. 👈 I guess I can thank the pandemic for forcing me to explore more of my own state.⁠ 🍎⁠ A few of the many fun things to experience in Kingston include:⁠ 👇⁠ Walking the Kingston Point Rail Trail (pictured here), then heading to the beach across the street⁠ 🥾⁠ Hiking in the Bluestone Wild Forest (I did the lovely Onteora Lake trail!)⁠ 🌿⁠ Having dinner on the water at Mariner's Harbor (the Zuppa di Pesce is delicious!)⁠ 🍲⁠ Immersing yourself in history in the Kingston Stockade District (the original site of Wiltwyck, a 17th-century Dutch settlement!)⁠ ⛪⁠ Perusing the local shops in the Stockade District and near Cornell Park (I got locally-made hot sauces from @ramsvalleyllc!)⁠ 🌶️⁠ Enjoying the historic Hudson River by boat with @HudsonRiverCruises (book their sunset ride!)⁠ 🌅⁠ These are just a few of the many things to do in Kingston, a great weekend getaway from NYC!
