The Beehive Trail in Acadia National Park

THE BEEHIVE TRAIL 🐝😅 👇 One not-to-miss hike in Maine's Acadia National Park is The Beehive - a short but steep trail that is not for the faint of heart. ⛰️ If you're afraid of heights, it can definitely be a bit scary at times as you’ll be scrambling and scaling a cliff with very thin open ledges (don’t look down!). 😨 But if you can handle the heights, you’ll be greatly rewarded with expansive vistas of Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Great Head, Penobscot Bay, and the east side of Mount Desert Island. 😍 Honestly, this was my favorite hike we did during our entire trip to Maine (and I think we did about 8 in total!). We also extended this gorgeous trail to also include The Bowl and Gorham Mountain — highly recommended for additional gorgeous views. 🥰 Have you ever done The Beehive? Would you? #BeyondTheGuidebook
