Staying in a Mongolian Ger

Have you ever stayed in a Mongolian ger? 🛖⁠ ⁠ This was a highlight of my trip to Mongolia last year, as I really got to see how local families lived and experience local life. It was a beautiful reminder of what originally attracted me to a life of travel. ❤️⁠ ⁠ And I’ll be doing this again next week when I leave for Kyrgyzstan (where I believe they call their yurt dwellings “boz üy”). 🤗⁠ ⁠ I’m very excited about another culturally immersive trip full of hiking and homestays.
