I absolutely loved hiking the Upper Piney Falls trail in Vail, Colorado. The trek starts low inside a big open meadow valley, though soon Piney Lake is out of view and we’re traversing the Gore Range. Pine trees envelop us in Mother Nature’s perfume, and my camera shutter clicks rapidly at every turn of the switchback trail. What are your favorite Vail hikes?
