Jessie on a Journey
Three women are standing together in shallow water, surrounded by mangrove trees on the shore. They are wearing life jackets and holding paddles, suggesting they are about to go kayaking or have just finished a kayaking excursion. They have bright smiles on their faces, indicating they are having an enjoyable time together. The water is a calm, greenish-brown color, reflecting the lush vegetation around it. The sky above is a beautiful blue with scattered clouds, creating a picturesque outdoor setting.

Solo Travelers' Magical Trip to Isla Holbox

POV: You travel to Isla Holbox with your content creator besties and it is magical! 😍 As a solo traveler and travel blogger, I've thought many times: "Hey, you know so many women who travel solo. Why don't you go on a trip together?" 🤔 After many Zoom chats, @AlexOnTheMap, @ChristineLozada, and I finally did it—and in an incredibly beautiful place in Mexico. 🌴 I've wanted to go to Isla Holbox for a while, but it always sounded *so far*. Actually, it isn't that bad. You simply take a ~2-hour shuttle or bus from Cancun Airport to Chiquilá and then a ~20-minute ferry ride to the island. If you stay in the town center, you'll easily be able to walk to your hotel. 🛥️ Expect lots of Isla Holbox content in the coming weeks! And if you haven't followed Alex (national parks expert) and Christine (drone pilot extraordinaire), make sure to do so! 🤗 Now, a question for my fellow content creators & solo travelers: have you ever traveled with other creators/solo travelers? ✈️ Photo via @from_holbox on a mangrove kayaking tour! #BeyondTheGuidebook
