Jessie on a Journey
The image captures a breathtaking vineyard scene set against the backdrop of majestic, snow-capped mountains in the distance. In the foreground, three weathered oak barrels are prominently displayed, each bearing a distinctive label: 'Accueil' (French for 'Welcome'), 'Degustaten' (possibly referring to 'Tasting'), and 'Vente' (French for 'Sale'). The barrels sit amidst a lush green vineyard, with neatly lined rows of grapevines stretching towards the horizon. The vibrant foliage of the vines contrasts beautifully with the rugged, earthy tones of the mountains in the background, creating a picturesque and inviting scene that evokes a sense of tranquility and rustic charm.

Scenic Vineyard Adventure in Provence

"Blessed are the curious for they shall have adventures." ⛰️I saw this quote on Pinterest, and it really resonated with me. There are so many things we can wish for in life -- a big family, a beautiful home, to make a six (or seven, or eight) figures. ___ For me, adventure has always been my #1 priority. Sure, my life goals have certainly changed from when I started traveling solo 11 years ago, but whether I'm young 20s backpacker Jessie sleeping in train stations and being fine living on kebabs, or young 30s Jessie who lives with her boyfriend in Manhattan and appreciates a comfortable pillow and a nice meal, I still dream about adventures every. damn. day. ___ While I'm usually solo, I was fortunate to share one special South of France adventure with my boyfriend. We e-biked with Secrets d’ici in conjunction with Bee’s Cycloplanet from Aix-en-Provence through the hills of Provence. 🚴‍♀️ ___ Not only was the scenery GORGEOUS, but we stopped for an organic wine tasting along the way, and ended with a sustainably-focused lunch with a view (and more wine, hello this is France). ___ To date, that South of France trips is in my top five. Road tripping from Nice to Marseille, it was just filled with soooooo many adventures! 😊 ___ * * *
