Pursuing Yoga Certification during Quarantine

POST-QUARANTINE DREAMING. ✨ Right before quarantine, I'd been researching yoga retreats. Over my years traveling the world solo, I've definitely moved from fast-paced backpacking trips to slower and more thoughtful experiences. I crave nature and wildlife, hiking in beautiful places, and trips that nourish my soul (vs allow me to simply *see* things). 🌍 Of course, then COVID-19 hit and put all travel plans on pause. A bummer, but I've decided to not let quarantine totally get in the way of my plans. 💪 In fact, I've been virtually getting my yoga teacher training certification! 🙌 While I don't plan to actually become a yoga teacher, I thought it would be a good opportunity to keep up with a healthy activity during quarantine/before it's safe to really travel, deepen my yoga practice, and maybe enhance a skill I can use in my travel content later on. Yoga travel videos, anyone? 🧘 (Side note: I think the most interesting thing I've learned about yoga so far in my coursework is that yoga is actually a *state of being*. It's about SO much more than movement and the physical practice we're taught in the west, and it makes me that much more excited to learn everything I possibly can about it.) 💮 Have you learned any new skills during your time at home? #BeyondTheGuidebook ___ * * * #moodboards #moodboarding #moodboardaesthetic #moodboardmonday #moodboarddesign #yogateachertraining #yogateachertrainings #quarantineandchill #quarantineyoga #quarantinewellness #gratitudejournal #yogalifestyle #yogatime #yogamotivation #yogavibes #yogajournal #yogatherapy #yogaasana #yoganywhere #yogaworld #yogastudent #postquarantine #yogatravel #yogatravels #yogatraveler #wellnesstravel #mindfultravel #mindfultraveler #wellnesswarrior
