Pandemic Wedding Day in NYC
This day may not be what we've been planning, but it's perfect as long as I'm with you.
❤️
On Christmas Eve 2018, @pierrepilc asked me to marry him. Who would have known that the boy with the eyebrow ring wearing the Ninja Turtles t-shirt who introduced himself to me during Quinnipiac's move-in day would one day become my husband?
😮
The dreamy farmhouse wedding we've been planning for over a year now may be postponed due to COVID-19, but we've found our favorite tree in one of our favorite places in NYC, and it's there that tomorrow I will marry my favorite person in the world.
🌲
The past four years of dating have blessed us with a lifetime worth of adventures, from swimming with sea lions in the Galapagos to hiking the cloud forests of Panama and beyond.
🚢
It's also presented us with the huge challenge of dealing with a pandemic and enduring quarantine in the small dark box that is our almost-windowless 600-square-foot apartment. But I think that going through this has made us stronger as people, and as a couple, and there is nobody else I would have wanted to be cooped up with.
💪
I can't wait to meet you at the alter, errr, willow tree, tomorrow, my love!
📸
(By the way, one thing we did do that's normal is hire a photographer, so I'll be sharing photos from the day as well as moments from the day on IG Stories. It's a really pretty spot with views of the Manhattan skyline, so stay tuned.)

Photo taken in Savannah, Georgia, the city where we first said "I Love You" after eating BLT Salads at the Pink House!
