Pandemic Wedding Day in NYC

This day may not be what we've been planning, but it's perfect as long as I'm with you.⁠ ❤️⁠ On Christmas Eve 2018, @pierrepilc asked me to marry him. Who would have known that the boy with the eyebrow ring wearing the Ninja Turtles t-shirt who introduced himself to me during Quinnipiac's move-in day would one day become my husband?⁠ 😮⁠ The dreamy farmhouse wedding we've been planning for over a year now may be postponed due to COVID-19, but we've found our favorite tree in one of our favorite places in NYC, and it's there that tomorrow I will marry my favorite person in the world.⁠ 🌲⁠ The past four years of dating have blessed us with a lifetime worth of adventures, from swimming with sea lions in the Galapagos to hiking the cloud forests of Panama and beyond.⁠ 🚢⁠ It's also presented us with the huge challenge of dealing with a pandemic and enduring quarantine in the small dark box that is our almost-windowless 600-square-foot apartment. But I think that going through this has made us stronger as people, and as a couple, and there is nobody else I would have wanted to be cooped up with.⁠ 💪⁠ I can't wait to meet you at the alter, errr, willow tree, tomorrow, my love!⁠ 📸⁠ (By the way, one thing we did do that's normal is hire a photographer, so I'll be sharing photos from the day as well as moments from the day on IG Stories.
