Jessie on a Journey
A joyous newlywed couple is standing together, smiling and embracing, at what appears to be their intimate Zoom wedding ceremony held outdoors. The groom is wearing a white shirt with a light gray vest and a bow tie, while the bride is wearing an elegant white lace dress. They are holding a small two-tier white wedding cake decorated with colorful buttercream flowers. The ceremony seems to have taken place in a park or natural setting, with lush green trees and bushes in the background, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance. An event tent or canopy frames the scene, providing shade for the couple and their guests who likely attended virtually.

Our Heartfelt Zoom Wedding

💍 OPERATION #ZOOMWEDDING WAS A SUCCESS! 💍 // 👈 Save + share, particularly with friends who are sad to be canceling their planned weddings. * Andy and I actually postponed our big wedding months ago, but because of everything else going on in the world, I didn't want to complain. But the truth is a wedding is more than a party. It's a huge milestone event you put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, hopes, dreams, energy, money, and YOU into, and it really sucks to have it canceled/postponed. * When we first decided to keep our original date - 7/18/20 - and do a Zoom wedding instead, I wasn't exactly upbeat about it. To an extent, I thought it would be sad and awkward, but luckily our loved ones encouraged us to move forward with it. * As we got closer to the date, I started to get more excited. We found a spot we both love on Randall's Island to do the ceremony. My mom offered to bake a real wedding cake. Andy made my lovely flower crown and bouquet as well as his boutonniere out of grocery store flowers. His sister got ordained so she could marry us. My father and Andy's mom did readings. My niece recorded the ceremony on her phone so she could make us a wedding video. * Not only did this make things super affordable, but it also made the event very *us*. * I'm still waiting to get photos back from our photographer (our one Zoom Wedding splurge!). Once I do, I'll be sharing some more tips and ideas for throwing an event like this -- including a few mistakes we made. Stay tuned! 😁 ___ * * * #ZoomWedding #covidweddings #2020brides #dayofcoordinator #weloveweddings #gettingmarried2020 #bridestobe #2021brides #weddingsonline #covidwedding2020 #coronaweddings #pandemicwedding #sayingido #sayido #gettingmarried2020 #mytruelove #soinlovewithyou #randallsisland #covidbride #outdoorweddings #covid19wedding #imgettingmarried #quarantinewedding #outdoorceremony #weddingpostponed #misstomrs #intimateweddings #smallweddings #nycwedding
