Jessie on a Journey
The image depicts a striking scene from a hiking trail in the mountainous region of Bhutan. In the foreground, a long wall made of stacked stones forms a barrier along the trail, adorned with hundreds of vibrant blue, red, green, yellow, and white prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Nestled alongside the stone wall are rows of clay tsatsas, small dome-shaped structures resembling stupas, believed to bring good luck. Interspersed among the tsatsas are larger painted rocks inscribed with the Dzongkha language, which appears to be a mantra or prayer related to sentient beings resting in peace. The rocky trail winds upward, leading the eye towards the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains in the distance, their rugged silhouettes contrasting against the vivid blue sky.

There are also small clay tsatsas shaped like palm-sized stupas for good luck as well as some left to liberate the soul of the dead by mixing the clay the human ashes.
