In Northern India, one classical style of dance is called Kathak, blending music, dance and storytelling. I saw a Kathak performance in Varanasi at Jolly Music House, and was astounded by how this lovely dancer had such control over the hundreds of bells on her ankles. I used to be a tap dancer, and her bare feet hitting the ground were louder than any tap shoes I ever owned. If in Northern India, definitely treat yourself to a Kathak performance!
