Luxurious Caribbean Retreat at Casa Bonita DR

@CasaBonitaDR is seriously a dream! The property — graciously sponsored by @godomrep — features an in-ground pool, hot tub, gorgeous spa with temazcal (cacao scrub, included!), lush trails onsite, and this beautiful bar and restaurant area. The Caribbean Sea views paired with a glass of wine or a fresh passionfruit juice were superb. ___ This property was such a great introduction to the Dominican Republic's Southwest (ie exploring the country beyond Punta Cana). If you stay, also don't miss a nearby hike to The Plaza, a set of waterfalls deep in the jungle with crystal waters for swimming. Worth the 2-hour trek (just wear sturdy water shoes!).
