Learning Stand Up Paddleboarding in Tampa
Every time I travel, I try to learn a new skill.
___
I call it setting "trip missions," which include anything from learning Tai Chi in China to hiking an active volcano for the first time in Nicaragua. As long as the outcome is personal growth, it works.
___
Now I actually have been stand up paddle boarding before -- many times; however, after taking a trip with @Urban_Kai on the Hillsborough River along the @tampariverwalk, I realized I never really "learned" the proper form.
___
Wow! SUP is muchhhhh easier if you know how to properly stand and paddle.
___
Not only that, but the trip offered a great opportunity to see the Tampa Riverwalk from a unique vantage point. Plus, if you're lucky, you can spot wildlife 🐟 in the water (yes, even manatees!). ___
When visiting Tampa, definitely add this -- or one of their SUP yoga classes or sunset paddles -- to your itinerary. Not only is it fun, but you'll be supporting a local family-owned, social good-focused business, as they run charity events and are currently putting in an accessible dock on the Riverwalk!

🌴 A big thanks to @visittampabay for sponsoring my trip! 🌴
