Jessie on a Journey
A scenic landscape of snow-capped mountains and rolling hills in the Icelandic countryside. The distant mountains are partially obscured by billowing clouds of steam or fog rising from the rugged volcanic terrain in the foreground. A small stream winds through the grassy, golden-hued expanse, where a handful of hikers can be seen traversing the path. The image captures the raw, untamed beauty of Iceland's natural wonders, with the stark contrast between the snow-covered peaks and the warm tones of the rocky landscape creating a visually striking scene.

Hiking to Reykjadur Hot Springs in Iceland

Visiting Iceland solo, I had no interest in spending time at the Blue Lagoon, which is crowded, expensive to enter and potentially awkward if you're alone. Interest, I opted to hike to Reykajadur Hot Springs. The trailhead was about 45 minutes from Reykjavík, and offered an uphill challenge through beautiful volcanic scenery. The entire way the ground was steaming, letting me know a warm curative bath awaited me at the end. I'll be telling you all about this hike soon on the blog, so don't worry 🤗 . . Where is your favorite place to hike? If you enjoy trekking, Iceland should definitely be on your list!
