Hiking Bear Mountain from NYC

A bit cloudy, but still felt so good to summit the top of #NewYork 's Bear Mountain. Who knew such beauty was only an hour drive from #NYC ? Next time, though, I'll be taking an alternative route. Took the popular Tower Route to be near other hikers since I was solo and was literally surrounded by children and shouting tourists, although I did meet some nice people. Will be publishing a photo essay soon so stay tuned :)
