Galapagos Islands: The Beauty of Responsible Cruising
I'm usually not a cruise person; however, after visiting the Galapagos twice -- once without a cruise and once with a cruise -- I'm grateful to have experienced the latter, especially on @WildAid's M/Y Passion with @andando_tours (#sponsored).

First of all, you can comfortably reach remote parts of the destination, many of which aren't possible to visit on a day trip.

Moreover, in Galápagos the cruise industry is more regulated than the land-based tourism industry, which is growing rapidly due to inexpensive hotels and hostels popping up, so the idea of what is more eco-friendly is much different here than in other destinations.

This photo was taken on Bartolomé Island after hiking up 375 feet to a lighthouse. The view was one of my favorites of the trip. PLUS we had the island all to ourselves since in Galápagos you actually reserve times to be at each attraction to avoid stressing out the landscape and wildlife.

AMAZING!
