Fascinating Komodo Dragon Encounter

Komodo dragons are FASCINATING!⁠ 😮⁠ I still can't believe I got to see these mighty creatures in the flesh while visiting the Komodo Islands in Indonesia. A few crazy facts:⁠ 🐉⁠ They're one of the few venomous lizards on earth - and, once they bite, they follow their prey after it thinks it has "escaped".⁠ 🐉⁠ They have a HUGE appetite - and can eat 80% of their own weight in one sitting.⁠ 🐉⁠ Speaking of eating, they'll eat any animal, including humans - in fact, they've been known to pull deceased humans out of graves to eat.⁠ 🐉⁠ Females can reproduce asexually - though males have 2 penises, and they'll have sex for quite a while (7 hours according to my tour guide!)⁠ 😅⁠ What is the craziest animal encounter you've had while traveling?
