Jessie on a Journey
The image depicts a whimsical street art installation featuring a dynamic and playful character leaping joyfully in front of a rustic building. The figure appears to be a stylized cartoon or anime character with wild, flowing black hair and a vibrant red shirt, contrasting against the muted tones of the surroundings. The character's posture and exaggerated motion convey a sense of unbridled energy and freedom. The setting is a rural or small-town area, with a weathered wooden building in the background, adorned with a sign that reads 'Please Visit Us Again.' The scene is framed by a lush green landscape, with a row of trees lining the horizon and a brilliant yellow sun peeking through, adding a warm and inviting glow to the overall composition.

Exploring Long Island Wine Country

One must-experience day trip from NYC that many neglect to have: exploring Long Island wine country. I'm originally from Long Island, so my family and I do this trip often. There are over 50 wine producers in the region, many on the North Fork Wine Trail. Drive down Sound Avenue and you'll be rewarded with tasting rooms almost every 300 feet, as well as homemade pie shops (don't miss Briermere Farms!), produce stands, antique stores and whimsical farmland scenery. There are also numerous opportunities for fun photographs, as you can see above. This was taken at Lenz Winery (@lenzwine) in a small tunnel with awesome backlighting. Some of my other favorite wine tasting stops in the region include @sparklingpointe, @pindarvineyards, @coffeepotcellars and @harbesfarm. Stay tuned for a blog post on jessieonajourney.com about Long Island Wine Country in the near future!
