Jessie on a Journey
A smiling woman's face is reflected in a large glass of white wine held up in the foreground. The wine glass is being held by a hand, suggesting someone is enjoying a drink at a local establishment. In the background, an urban winery setting can be seen, with wooden tables, dim lighting, and decor such as a decorative metal wall hanging. The winery appears to specialize in New York-made wines, beers, and spirits, based on the provided context.

Exploring a Local Urban Winery in Brooklyn

One of the reasons I'm NOT a full-time #DigitalNomad -- but instead choose to travel often and home-base in Brooklyn -- is because I have such amazing friends here. Here I am with @nikkiblp, who, like me, is a NYC tour guide and travel enthusiast. She's also my favorite person to explore the city with. Here we are at @bklynoenology, an urban winery in Williamsburg passionate about showcasing New York. Everything in this shop is focused on the state, from the homegrown wines, beers and spirits to the delicious farmstead cheeses to the tables made from locally reclaimed wood. They even feature artwork from local artists on their wine bottles via peel-able labels you can keep when you're done. Bonus: they offer budget-friendly make-your-own flights :) What's your favorite local spot in your hometown?
