Embracing an Unconventional Path

✨ “Once in a while it really hits people that they don’t have to experience the world in the way they have been told to.” — Alan Keightley ✨ ___ ☝️This has personally been the scariest -- but most rewarding -- realization of my life. To take a path that nobody I knew personally had taken. ⬅️ (I started my blog in 2011, so this really was uncharted territory). ___ To take that "American Life" blueprint and rip it up (or, at least, hide it away for the time being, while I explored other options). ✈️ ___ For me, what made taking the leap easier was: ✅ Fear of always wondering "What if I'd..." ✅ The realization that this didn't need to be permanent; if I leapt and fell, I could try again or even go back to that original blueprint. ___ Today, I'm still on that path I set out on in 2011. And while it certainly has its challenges, I couldn't imagine my life any other way. ❤️ ___ * * *
