Jessie on a Journey

A traditional Turkish dessert called Asure is presented in a ceramic bowl. Asure- A delicious Turkish pudding of cherries, figs, fava beans, cashews and hazelnuts. When I went into a self-service restaurant in Istanbul and ordered some the man behind the counter gave it to me on the house -- for no reason. People here are so nice!
