Define a Mission to Help People

"What is one piece of advice you'd give to a newbie travel blogger trying to take a similar path as you?" ✈️ ___ Now I often get asked by people very broad, general questions, like "How do I make money blogging." This is impossible to answer in an email or social media post (and the very reason I've created an entire membership community with 15+ content bundles). ___ But the way this question was framed made it easier to answer. What one piece of advice would I give? 🤔 ___ It didn't take me long to formulate my response: Start your blog by defining a mission that helps people. 🙋‍♀️ ___ So many bloggers — specifically in travel — write about their trips in a way that doesn’t add value to the lives of their readers, but really just promotes themselves. The truth is, people don’t care about what you do necessarily, but instead how what you do can benefit them. ___ Once you pinpoint that mission and start fulfilling it, it becomes so much easier to craft posts that get shared, grow your social media channels and email list, and create products that serve your community. 😊 ___ * * *
