Conquering Nepal's Mohare Danda Trek

Day #2 of Nepal's Mohare Danda Trek brought another day of intensity with seven hours of almost completely uphill trekking. ⛰️ Luckily my fever had broke in the middle of the night while in Baskharka and I was feeling a lot better, albeit weak. Actually, two of the people in my trekking group decided to turn back after breakfast, and I could have joined them. 🤭 It was tempting in my ill state, but I reminded myself just how far I'd flown to do THIS trek. I knew I would be devastated if I turned back. And so, loaded up on meds, I continued on. 🥾 The destination for this day was Nangi Village at 2,300 meters. Something unique to do here is seeing how villagers make paper from locally grown plants. Plus the high peak views are incredible (scroll through the series to see the vista — last photo!). 👉 A big thanks to @nepaltourism, @impacttravelalliance and the Pacific Asia Travel Association for hosting my trip! 🙏 Swipe right for a preview of the experience. Swipe until the end to see Annapurna South, one of the world's high peaks, in all its glory! 👉 * * * #nepaltravel #visitnepal2020 #HTM2019 #nepal🇳🇵#travelnepal #travelnepal🇳🇵
