Exploring Outside the 303
The image depicts an abandoned gypsum mine near Lake Las Vegas, with vibrant graffiti covering the walls. In the foreground, two individuals, a woman wearing a striped shirt and a man wearing a gray t-shirt, are standing in front of a large mural depicting a helmeted figure resembling the character from the Star Wars franchise, alongside various abstract shapes and the text 'THIS IS THE WAY'. The mural showcases a range of colors, including green, yellow, red, and pink. The background reveals the vast, barren landscape of the mine, with rocky hills and a clear blue sky. The scene conveys a sense of urban exploration and the appreciation for graffiti art within abandoned spaces.

Urban Exploring an Abandoned Mine

Have you tried Urban Exploring? ⠀ Urban exploring, also known as Urbex or UE is exploring man-made structures, usually abandoned ruins or hidden components of a man-made environment. ⠀ We had our first Urbex experience at an abandoned gypsum mine near Lake Las Vegas on our way home from the Hoover Dam. ⠀ Any and every surface that could be painted on was and there was some incredible graffiti art. The abandoned gypsum mine is ~300 feet wide and 800 ft deep. ⠀ We will definitely add UE to our exploring options in the future. ⠀ ❓Have you been Urban Exploring❓ ⠀ ⠀ 🏙 follow us @exploringoutsidethe303 @ Las Vegas, Nevada
