Traveling With a Beloved Dog Companion
All you need is love and a dog š¾ā

Traveling with a large dog just adds to our adventure. Dog hair is just part of the dĆ©cor. Diesel is an 8 year old 60 lb black lab mix and loves being with his people allš theš timeš.ā
ā
He loves to be outside soaking up the sun, under Steve's feet while he works, or snuggled up next to me on the couch. On travel days he curls up in the back middle seat between the kids. ā

Here are a few tips for traveling with a dog:ā
š¾ Find a place to get their energy out frequently (daily if possible) like a dog park, open field, or trailā
š¾ Set the thermostat appropriately and do test runs to make sure it works properly. Mostly we are concerned when it's really hot out. ā
š¾ Train your dog not to bark while your gone, kennel if needed, or take the dog with you if you canā
š¾ Invest in poop bags and a bag carrier for the leashā
š¾ Seal all food and treats in air tight containers to reduce the risk of attracting bugs or miceā
š¾ Turn on music while gone to help cover outside noise ā
ā
Diesel is a great travel dog and goes with the flow of where we are and what we are doing.ā
