Sledding at White Sands

White Sands was not only beautiful and fun but made us think hard about wandering off too far incase we'd get lost 🤯. We bought some sleds and wax (for those of us who 'might' sink into the sand more then others) and found a steep hill to use. 〰️ We sent the kids down first and then built up the courage ourselves. We ended up with sand in places we'd rather not have 😟 and had so much fun. 〰️ Climbing up the hills over and over is no joke but so worth it! If you haven't been to White Sands before add it to the bucket list. We were tired after sledding so we opted to skip the sunset hike with a ranger even though it sounded wonderful.
