Roadside Tire Change on RV Trip

And that marks our 2nd blown out tire for those of you who are counting 😫 but this time we had tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) and it worked, thank God! The alarm went off, we pulled over immediately, and no damage was done to the rim or trailer (unlike last time, see picture #3). . . Steve was able to change the tire in 45 minutes and we used a trick we learned after the first tire change. We rolled up on the Anderson blocks to lift the trailer, then only needed a bottle jack to lift the axil a few inches to get the new tie on. . . I'm so thankful Steve is handy and keeps his cool in these types of situations. I was nervous with the semi trucks and cars whizzing by, most were respectful and moved over. I'm thankful for the TPMS too. . . The funny thing was Steve asked about the tire pressure not more then 5 minutes before the alarm sounded. He had a sense something was off.
