Exploring Outside the 303
A serene and tranquil scene in a lush, verdant forest, with towering trees and a flowing stream. A person, likely a woman based on their appearance, stands on a fallen log bridge, taking in the natural beauty surrounding them. The stream cascades over moss-covered rocks, creating a small waterfall. Sunlight filters through the dense foliage, casting a warm glow over the scene. The image exudes a sense of peace and connection with nature.

Parenting: Embracing the Preteen Season

This season has a purpose Being a parent is exciting, exhausting, character defining, and million other things wrapped in to one. There are seasons within parenting and we have embarked on a new one - Preteen We are well past the days of our kids needing us to do everything for them and glorious nap time. J is 10 and A is 8. While I no longer get to cuddle with them like I did when they were babies, we have more freedom to explore and try different things. For now I am going to enjoy these ages, the questions they ask, the silly jokes they make, the life lessons learned, and the memories we make along the way. What's your favorite part about the parenting season you are in? Follow along @exploringoutsidethe303 📍North Cascades National Park
