June Fulltime RV Budget & Northwest Road Trip Recap
Fulltime travel family Budget đ°â
â
June kicked off our PNW route and it started with 2 long drive days from Colorado to the NW part of Washington. We have explored the Washington & Oregon Coast.
â
"Rent"â
Thousand Trails: 18 nightsâ
RPI Park: 6 nightsâ
RV Resort: 4 nightsâ (hosted)â
Harvest Host: 1 nightâ
Walmart Parking Lot: 1 nightâ
Rent: $78â
Cost per night: $2.60â
đď¸â Our Thousand Trails and RPI memberships have saved us a ton of money in rent this month, especially in this park of the country.â
â
"Food"â
Groceries: $1090â
Restaurants: $555â
đ´â â The cost of food is higher in this region, however, we have managed to cut back on our overall food costs with meal planning. â
â
"Fuel"â
Total Miles ~2,100â
Towed Miles: 1634â
Fuel Cost: $911â
Days Traveled: 5â
States: Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Oregonâ
đ We drove a lot this month, but most of the mileage was just to get from CO to upper NW part of WA. The diesel costs are also higher in this part of the country.â We head to CA next - that's going to hurt the wallet when more.
â
"Entertainment"â
Activities: $110â
đ We went trekking with Alpaca's in an orchard, explored downtown Seattle, North Cascade National Park, â and spent a lot of time at the beach. â
â
â Our plan with this route was to minimize rent costs because we knew the PNW has higher costs with diesel and food. Our memberships are really proving to be beneficial in this area. Check out my Guide "RV Memberships" for details about all the memberships we use.â
â
Let me know how you compare with your budget.â
