Insights on Homeschooling: Embracing Flexibility

Starting homeschooling can be rough If your anything like me you question if your doing a good job and if your kids are actually learning anything. At first I tried to duplicate public school, Let me tell you, that didn't work for us at all! When I got away from the boxed curriculum and lossened up about teaching, my kids flourished. We don't completely do the unschool thing, but use an eclectic mixture now. The kids get to dive deep into subjects they love and are reading more then they ever did before. So don't be too hard on yourself, make room for flexibility, and you'll be amazed how your kids start to blossom into life learners. What's your biggest worry about homeschooling?
