Exploring Outside the 303
A rustic and scenic dirt road winds its way through a lush, verdant forest draped in Spanish moss hanging from the trees. The dense foliage is a vibrant mix of greens, creating a sense of being enveloped in nature's embrace. At the center of the path, a golden-hued recreational vehicle (RV) stands out, its presence adding a touch of adventure to the serene surroundings. The RV appears well-equipped for extended travel, hinting at the possibility of exploring the great outdoors while maintaining a comfortable living space.

How We Chose Our RV for Full-Time Travel

How did we know this was the RV for us? It took 6 months of watching Youtube walk throughs and visiting different manufacturers. We even debated about flying to Indiana to get a trailer because CO didn't have the type of rigs we wanted. We had a few must haves: 1️⃣ An actual door the closed off the bedrooms including the bunkhouse 2️⃣ Beautiful interior, we didn't want to renovate 3️⃣ At least 3 seasons package, our plan was to follow the sun (didn't quite work out that way) 4️⃣ Larger bathroom 5️⃣ Price point We went with a 2019 @coachmen Catalina Legacy Edition 323BHDSCK. It checked off everything we wanted and included a large outdoor kitchen that we absolutely love and an fireplace the seconds as an electric heater during the colder times of year. A big question that we get is whether to buy new or used. Used can be a great option and that is how we started, we bought a popup off Craigslist. We went with new this time because we couldn't find a layout that meet our needs plus we wanted a warranty. We went with a travel trailer instead of a 5th wheel mostly due to cost and knowledge of travel trailers. ❓What items on your "must haves" list for your RV❓ Follow along for more RV insights ⤵️ @exploringoutsidethe303
