Exploring Outside the 303
The image depicts a scenic canyon landscape with towering, reddish-brown rock formations and narrow passageways through the rocks. Two people can be seen hiking through the canyon, one wearing a blue jacket and the other wearing a red jacket. The narrow canyon walls are jagged and striped with various shades of red, brown, and tan, creating a visually striking and rugged environment. The hikers appear to be traversing a challenging terrain, navigating over boulders and through tight spaces between the towering rock formations.

Hiking SARA's Crack Near Lake Havasu City

Anywhere is 'within walking distance' We hiked SARA's Crack near Lake Havasu City over the weekend. While it is a moderate hike (3.4 miles), it was challenging for both Steve and I. So much that Steve didn't go in the crack because he was worried about his knees with climbing over boulders. I went in and had 1 spot where I didn't want to go further. I had a mini-anxiety attach because the canyon walls are tight, and we had to climb on a shaky metal ladder over a boulder and back down another shaky ladder. J & A were amazing with encouraging me and helping me with this spot. The way back up was better then the way down. When I used the rope ladder to climb up the last 8ft section, I felt like Wonder Women. So strong, both mentally and physically. I had faced a fear of the unknown, doubting if I could physically do it, and came out feeling on top of the world. Hiking continues to a surprise me not only with the views but the life lessons I am learning first hand. ❓When was the last time you went on a hike? How about a hike that you had to dig deep to keep moving forward❓ @exploringoutsidethe303 @ SARA's Crack
