Show More ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️For More Info ℹ️ About the episode: In this episode, we stayed a few days in Silver City, NM and toured Gila National Forest. This NF is known for the Gila Cliff Dwellings with 5 caves. The hike up to the dwellings was amazing and we hit it right in the middle of fall so the leaves were stunning. We got to climb around the dwellings, saw lizards, and enjoyed the warm sun after it came over the ridge. After our first hike, we had overheard there are some hot springs and it was a easy hike to get to them, so naturally, we wanted to check it out. We came across a stream that we were not prepared to cross so we went upstream a bit (on another trail). Steve tried to jump across and in the process the ground gave out and he sprained his ankle bad. We were able to get him back to the truck and I drove us back to our campsite. Luckily, after some R&R, Tylenol, ice, and elevation he was able to drive the truck and trailer the next day to Tucson, so we could get setup to drop Lina off for some service. ~ Watch more of our full-time RV life videos: https://www.youtube.com/exploringoutsidethe303 ~ We are native Coloradans and let go of traditional life to explore the country with our 2 kids and dog.
