Finding Joy in Simple Moments

Constantly searching for views that take my breath away⁠ ⁠ It is easy to get lost in these tiny squares of amazing mountain views and say it takes our breath away. Or of a a waterfall with just the right amount of sun flare cascading through the water and say the same. I am guilty as charged for doing just that, but those moments are far and few between, and for some they don't ever happen. ⁠ ⁠ I have found a love for finding joy in the every day moments. Take for example the first picture it has 3 of my favorite things in it:⁠ ◾My husband⁠ ◾My kids⁠ ◾A cross that represents my faith in God⁠ ⁠ The second image has another 3 of my favorite things in it:⁠ ◾My kids smiling⁠ ◾A place to have quiet time with God⁠ ◾A new location we discovered⁠ ⁠ We came across a Tiny Church in Yuma. It is in the middle of a working farm with dirt road access, about 20 minutes away from town. The church seats a carload of people and receive thousands of visitors every year from around the world. What started as a farmers way to honor his deceased wife has turned into a roadside stop that is a quite place to reflect. ⁠ ⁠ This Tiny Church took my breath away with the beauty of the simplicity of it all. Surrounded by dirt and farmland, only enough room for one family at a time, and the kids joy when they could stand at the pulpit. It is moments like these that bring joy to my heart.⁠ ⁠ Of course, we love to travel and see nature at its finest, but don't forget to find joy in small moments too.
