Exploring Outside the 303
A breathtaking natural rock formation stands tall against the backdrop of a vast desert landscape. The rock formation is a massive, rust-colored sandstone arch, resembling an arched doorway carved by nature's artistry. Within the curve of the arch, two human figures can be seen standing, their forms appearing small in comparison to the towering rock structure. The arch frames a picturesque view of the arid desert terrain, dotted with scattered shrubs and stretching out towards distant mountain ranges on the horizon. The image captures the striking contrast between the rugged, weathered rock formation and the expansive, open desert scenery, evoking a sense of wonder and awe at the grandeur of nature.

Family Hike at Robbers Roost in Sedona

Some times all we need is just a new perspective ⠀ We hiked to Robbers Rooster the same day we did Devils Bridge. We ended up hiking just over 9 miles that day, which is good for us considering we are beginner hikers. ⠀ The kids were toast at the base of Robbers Roost and it took a lot to keep them moving forward. We were blown away with the views and the kids loved the hole in the cave. ⠀ As we sat and ate a snack, Jeremiah mentioned how he had to dig deep to make it up the last section before the cave. He was so tired but wanted to see what his body could do. He had to make the choice to change his perspective on the whole situation. ⠀ It was an incredibly special moment to have him share that with me. Melted this Mommas heart ❤. They do listen and apply what we talk about! ⠀ 🏜We highly recommend this hike, it is a easy 3 mile roundtrip trail with staggering views. Totally worth it for some Instagram worthy photos ⠀ ❓Have you been to Sedona to hike? What's your favorite trail❓ ⠀ 🏜 Follow us for more family hiking @exploringoutsidethe303 @ Robbers Roost, Arizona
