Exploring Oak Alley Plantation

Another favorite spot we explored was Oak Alley Plantation in LA. The Oak trees were gorgeous and so big, bigger then any trees we've seen before. . . We toured the plantation and the grounds on our way to New Orleans. The kids had a lot of questions about slavery and what it was like to live during the time. It was a great learning day for us all. . . We also had done praline cookies and Addy was a fan. We have said it before, we love the south. The hospitality, the humidity, the food, and beautiful scenery.
