Exploring Craters of the Moon National Monument

Fly me to the moon 🌚 Craters of the Moon is one of the most interesting places we have been to, it truly is other worldly. It's like walking on another planet and there are many short hikes that take you to lava cones and volcano fields. When we went it was super smokey due to all the wild fires in the west and extremely windy. The kids could hardly stand up when we were on top of Inferno Cone, but it did make for some really fun pictures. Devils Orchard was a unique hike with so many twisted dead trees. It's incredible that there are plants and animals that live in the park. If you find yourself in SE Idaho, this is a must see. We spent a few hours exploring and want to go back to check out the caves. ❓What out of this world places have you been to❓ Join us as we explore more National Parks @Exploringoutsidethe303
