Exploring Outside the 303
The image captures a heartwarming scene of two young children, likely siblings, standing on a wooden bridge surrounded by lush greenery in a serene natural setting. The girl, adorned in a white sweatshirt with a colorful rainbow design and pink leggings, exudes a joyful expression, while the boy, clad in a navy blue sweatshirt with a white graphic, mirrors her delighted demeanor. The bridge, constructed from weathered wooden planks and supported by rustic log railings, stretches across what appears to be a small creek or stream, framed by a dense thicket of vibrant foliage. The verdant canopy of trees and bushes creates a tranquil, secluded atmosphere, offering a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Embracing Change in Homeschooling Journey

Homeschool Update We ended last semester with a mild breakdown on my part due to being overwhelmed with work, traveling, schooling... you name it, I was feeling it all. I asked for recommendations for online programs and you all came through. I received many recommendations and notes of encouragement. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You showed up for me when I was really doubting myself. We have been back at it with school for 2 weeks now and we have changed it up quite a bit from what we were doing at the beginning of the school year. Our new layout is different for each kid. Jeremiah now does about 65% of his schooling online and Addy does about 40%. We are using a mix of Miacademy and Kahn Academy for Math, History, Science, Art, and some language arts. We are using Growing with Grammer and parts of Sonlight for Language Arts. I continue to learn that homeschooling is ever changing and each season may look different. I had to really dig into my hesitancy of not feeling like we were "homeschooling" with using online support. Cheers to you homeschooling family and taking the wave of change with grace and love. Tag your homeschooling friend and let them know you got their back 💕
