Exploring Outside the 303
A sign board situated in an arid desert landscape with distant mountains in the background, under a partly cloudy blue sky. The sign indicates that the Navajo Tribal Parks in the area are closed until further notice, seemingly due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. The scene features a chain-link fence, a gate with a red 'No Trespassing' sign, and a dirt road leading towards the sign.

Closed Four Corners Monument During COVID-19

We drove 1.5 hours to get as close as possible to the Four Corners Monument where Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah touch. Sadly, it was closed due to Covid. We weren't surprised it was closed but thought we would have been able to get closer to the monument. . . Since we were already there we decided to drive in to each state (yes we were rule breakers 😬). So we snapped a photo at the Arizona state line sign, Colorado state sign, the Utah state sign, and the Monument was in New Mexico. If you've ever been to this area, there are not many people around for 30 miles. . . While in Utah we saw multiple red hearts painted on the highway, so we had to stop and get a photo. We couldn't figure out their significance but loved spotting them. As always, going on an adventure leads us to find unexpected things and make memories. . . What adventure did you go on this past weekend? Find anything unexpected? @ Four Corners: UT, CO, AZ, NM
