Exploring Outside the 303
A colorful and vibrant scene of hot air balloons of various shapes, colors, and patterns, including one depicting the American flag, taking flight at what appears to be a balloon festival or event. The balloons are inflated and ascending into the sky against a backdrop of a clear, blue horizon. In the foreground, a smiling woman wearing a gray jacket embraces a young girl wearing a blue shirt and pink pants, both looking joyful and delighted as they witness the spectacle of the mass balloon ascension. Crowds of people can be seen in the background, likely spectators gathered to enjoy the event.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta: Dawn Patrol to Fireworks

Balloon Fiesta Must See Activities The Fiesta is broken into AM and PM session. We recommend you attend at least one of each session as they offer up different experiences. The AM session includes: ▪️Dawn Patrol: The first balloons up to determine weather conditions. They light up and look spectacular against the dark sky. ▪️ Mass Ascension: Seeing hundreds of balloons ascend is a sight to see. The first day of the Fiesta there was over 600 balloons! The PM session includes: ▪️Glow: Hundreds of balloons inflate and light up as the sunsets. ▪️After Glow: A group of highly trained jumpers fly through the sky with fireworks shooting off their legs. ▪️Fireworks: Hands down one of the best shows we've ever seen are at the Fiesta. There is nothing quite like being on the field during the show. There you have it, a simple breakdown of the main events at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Have I convinced you to add this to your bucket list?
